Clue: Diary of a Wimpy Kid takes a favorite board game and gives it a full makeover sure to delight fans of the original book series. The game has players taking on the roles of Greg, Rowley, Frank, Rodrick, Susan, or Holly to figure out who Manny is with, where he wandered off, and what distracted him. Each character also has a personality card with abilities that can help solve the mystery.

The usual weapon tokens have been replaced with distraction tokens, including The Cheese, Greg’s Journal, Manny’s Pacifier, Ladybug Cellphone, The Pig, and Manny’s Training Potty. Greg will need all the help he can get after losing track of his little brother, so players will have to look carefully over the Suspect, Location, and Intrigue cards.

The new Clue: Diary of a Wimpy Kid game is available now on The Op’s website. Superfans of the series can also catch a release celebration at Jeff Kinney’s bookstore, An Unlikely Story, in Plainville, MA this Wednesday, Aug. 23. The game is designed for two to six players and kids ages 8 and up.
