The spooky season is open to everyone and Disguise is making sure all kids have a chance to dress up with its adaptive line of costumes.
The Halloween costume division of Jakks Pacific launched a new line of licensed wheelchair cover sets and accessible costumes for Halloween this year. The line now features adaptive jumpsuits and dresses, in addition to new wheelchair wraps available in six popular licenses. Kids can find costumes inspired by Poppy from Trolls World Tour, Chase from Paw Patrol: The Movie, Transformers Bumblebee, Batman, and the Batmobile.
Costumes provide accessible features, such as detachable capes, an opening at the waist for a feeding tube, and a long opening in the back for easy dressing. There are also hook and loop closures at the arm sleeve, abdominal, and pant inseam openings on the jumpsuits and dresses to make them easy to put on and take off.
Wheelchair covers fit most wheelchairs and are made of felt, plastic piping for added stability, and several long self-stick fabric strips to keep the pieces in place.
This follows last year’s global launch of licensed adaptive wheelchair covers and will expand even further next year.
