Not everyone has the heart for scatological games or “doo doo” themed fun, and believe me, I’m definitely one of those people who don’t particularly enjoy them. But, I have to admit Doo Doo Kangaroo from Moose Games is a hilarious game that is guaranteed to keep you and the kids laughing the whole time!
So if you’re thinking of passing on this game, think again!
Doo Doo Kangaroo comes with four “plates,” a spinner, tokens, and a kangaroo sitting on a toilet. You will need a flat surface to play, like a table or hard surface floor. Before you begin, you will need to grab three AA batteries. Once you’re ready, the youngest player starts by spinning the wheel to see how many doughnuts (tokens) they have to feed the kangaroo. After feeding each token to the kangaroo, the player flushes the toilet. As each player repeats these steps, the kangaroo will randomly decide he is full and start shaking, while the tokens come sliding out of the toilet.
The catch is that the tokens are double sided — so players want to grab the ones facing up (doughnuts) and avoid the ones facing down (doo doos!)
The first player to put five doughnuts on their plate wins the game. The game is designed for kids ages 3 and up with pretty quick gameplay for 2-4 players, but the unpredictability of the kangaroo is so silly and fun, you’ll want to play again. Sometimes 10 doo doos come out of the toilet without any doughnuts and other times only one or two tokens will come out, so you have to try to snatch the doughnuts before someone else does!
This game is more interactive than a board game for those little ones with shorter attention spans. Plus, the tokens aren’t speeding out of the toilet so you don’t have to worry about finding them under the couch the next day.
Overall, Doo Doo Kangaroo is an easy way to gather the kids around the table together and giggle ‘till your tummies hurt!
DOO DOO KANGAROO
Kids feed doughnuts to a kangaroo sitting on a toilet. Once he's full, the kangaroo shakes and shimmies while kids race to catch the doughnuts and dodge the “doo doos” that come flying out of the toilet.
