Spring is here and as animals return from their underground hibernation retreats, another type of animal also makes its way into our world … plush farm animals!
In celebration of the new season, plush toy company Douglas Co. is introducing 16 (yes, 16!) new plush animals to its lineup of fuzzy friends. Among these new recruits, there are 13 farm animals and a family of three baby chicks.
The Farm Friends come in a variety of sizes ranging from 6-11 inches. Serka the Hen, Tynan the Horse, Shelby the Snail, and Chive the Bee are just a few of the true-to-life animals offered in the new launch. Despite their realistic and detailed design, animals like Penelope the Peacock, Bert the Ladybug, and Hoot the Owl feature soft fur that make these playtime pets great companions for cuddling, too.
The family of six Soft plushies include Elise the Black and White Cow, Rylie the Goat, Pinkie the Pig, Josie the Llama, Dollie the Lamb, and Finnie the Frog, all with gently weighted bodies that make them less firm than their real-life animal counterparts. Designed to have an animated look, the Soft animals add a touch of cuddly to this corral!
Separate from the Farm Friends collection, but certainly just as cute, Douglas Co. is also introducing three baby chicks by the names of Tara, Zara, and Mara. Zara (gray) and Mara (pink) are just 8-inches long with black, beady eyes and brown beaks. Tara the Silkie Chick is the big sister of the nest, measuring 10-inches long with brown on her wings and a cream-colored underside.
