The fiery felines of the Exploding Kittens game are making their way back to game night arenas, this time as menacing marsupials in the brand’s newest game, Hand-to-Hand Wombat.
Back in 2015, Exploding Kittens launched on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding platform for creative projects. The Exploding Kittens board game amassed notable success, eventually landing itself in major retailers such as Target. The brand is returning to its roots for the new game launch, with Hand-to-Hand Wombat officially hitting Kickstarter today.
The game combines social deduction and stacking bricks. One team works together to build towers before the other team can secretly sabotage them. Recommended for players ages 7 and up, the new game features the iconic wombat character from The Oatmeal’s comic.

Exploding Kittens also sold a custom-built tiny house for $1 to a lucky backer who noticed its surprise arrival on the Kickstarter page without any warning. Over the next 26 days, Exploding Kittens promises more Wombat-themed surprises to celebrate the new game with outrageous items sold for $1 over the course of the Kickstarter campaign. Keep your eyes peeled on the Hand-to-Hand Wombat Kickstarter page because these $1 items will usually appear without any warning!
