Hasbro is introducing a whole new group of kids to an iconic ’80s movie franchise with new lines of Ghostbusters toys to get kids excited for the release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in March.

There are two sets of action figures in this lineup. There are four 5-inch Fright Features Figures including Callie, Phoebe, and Trevor Spengler along with Gary Grooberson. These action figures feature five points of articulation, a proton pack, and a blaster wand. Each figure also comes with a stretchy ghost, including Pukey, Bonesy, Slimer, or Possessor, that can be stretched over the figure.

The other new set of action figures is based on the animated series, The Real Ghostbusters. These four figures of the original Ghostbusters each come with a different haunt and accessories to go with them. The Ray Stantz figure comes with the Jail Jaw Ghost, the Peter Venkman figure comes with the Gruesome Twosome Ghost, the Egon Spengler figure comes with the Soar Throat Ghost, and the Winston Zeddemore figure comes with the Scream Roller Ghost.

In addition to action figures, there are other toys represented in Hasbro’s new line. The Track & Trap Ecto-1 is compatible with the Fright Features action figures and comes with a stretchy Slimer. Kids can also interact with their own Slimer with the Squash & Squeeze interactive toy, which makes more than 40 noises and can be squished and shaken. Finally, kids can strap on the Zap & Blast Proton Blaster to fight ghosts. The blaster features LED light effects and makes more than 20 sound effects.

Whether kids are already well acquainted with the Ghostbusters or are just discovering them for the first time, they’re bound to have a blast hunting ghosts!
