It’s officially (unofficially) fall and that means only one thing: It’s basically already Halloween.
This year, much like as with everything else, the holiday will look a little different. In Woodland Hills, California, the company Experiential Supply believes that doesn’t necessarily have to be a scary thing. Its family-friendly Hauntoween L.A. event is a socially distanced alternative to trick-or-treating and will run from Oct. 9-31.
Families can drive up to (but if windows are down, masks must be up) an adventure full of mesmerizing moments. The event features “Door to Door” Trick or Treating in which actors come out of their “homes” and provide candy to cars using a pole; immersive installations including a drive-through pumpkin tunnel with more than 1,000 pumpkins; scenic, Halloween-inspired driving paths; and an interactive pumpkin patch, in which families can retrieve sanitized pumpkins from a drive-up container or have them placed in their trunks.
Pull up to the green screen to get a video memory emailed straight to you. At the end of the trip, there’s also a photo-op to commemorate your family’s journey. Space is limited so families are encouraged to buy tickets for $70 per vehicle early — find them here and Happy (almost) Halloween!
