If your family is obsessed with building and collecting LEGO sets, they’re going to love a new, upcoming line of board games that require players to make LEGO creations.
The LEGO Group and Asmodee will launch a collection of LEGO board games, including Monkey Palace, which will be available this fall. Your kids might recognize Asmodee from its trading card game, Star Wars: Unlimited!
Monkey Palace is a jungle-themed strategy game featuring LEGO inventions — it was announced earlier this year, and it will be available to purchase on Oct. 3. In the game, players aim to re-build the Monkey Palace and compete for the highest brick income and points.
The companies have also created Dotted Games, a new studio that will remain dedicated to the collaboration and focus on developing LEGO-based board games for your next game night. Dotted Games is currently developing Brick Like This!, a family party game for 2-8 players.
Until Monkey Palace is available, your kids can practice their building skills with different LEGO sets!
