The 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars is of galactic importance. Kids can celebrate by building one of the anniversary LEGO sets, but the brick-ified Star Wars universe is also joining the ranks of LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite is a survival crafting game where players can don LEGO-themed skins and build to their hearts’ content! LEGO Fortnite is housed in the Fortnite game, so players can build alongside Battle Royale, Rocket Racing, and other Fortnite games.
The Star Wars franchise has made appearances in Fortnite many times before, with some of kids’ favorite characters, including Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker, being available as character outfits. While we don’t know all of the details about what Epic Games and Lucasfilm Games have up their sleeves for this new collaboration, we’re sure it’ll be strong with the Force.
LEGO Star Wars is joining LEGO Fortnite starting May 3, just in time for kids’ May the 4th celebrations!
