WHAT IT IS

The Loyal Subjects‘ Cheebees is a collection of 2.5-inch figurines released under its TLS Toy brand. Series 1 became a social hit with viral videos showcasing nostalgic characters from Hallmark’s Rainbow Brite and WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake franchises. Each adorable character is a throwback to the form factor that kids fell in love with in the 1980s, gently updated for modern audiences. Each figure comes in a retro-inspired window box.

There are six new figures to collect in Strawberry Shortcake Series 2 while seven new friends join Rainbow Brite.

WHY WE LOVE IT

This cross-generational line is a perfect entry point to Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake for kids ages 3 and up. Adult collectors who loved these characters the first time around can reconnect with their youth by adding some or all of these figures to their home or office. Series 2 sees Buddy Blue, Canary Yellow, Indigo, Lala Orange, Moonglow, Patty O’Green and Violet joining the Rainbow Brite collection (note that Rainbow Brite herself is in Series 1). Almond Tea, Angel Cake, Blueberry Muffin, Cherry Cuddler, and Mint Tulip join Strawberry Shortcake with Custard the Cat round out the Strawberry Shortcake lineup. Each figure is great for play or display.
