It’s officially back-to-school season, and this year, American Girl is enrolling in Monster High.
For the first time ever, both of Mattel’s beloved doll brands are teaming up for a creepy-cute crossover. The star of the collab is a limited-edition Frankie Stein collector doll, which re-creates the fan-favorite fashionista in American Girl’s signature style. Kids can add her to their collections starting Sept. 1.
The 18-inch doll stuns in a black-and-blue plaid dress, complete with sparkly puff sleeves, a mesh underskirt, and a satin polka-dot tie. Her iconic black-and-white streaked hair falls over her shoulders, revealing the silver-plated bolts in her neck, while her purple eye makeup, red manicure, and green, stitched-together skin make the look hauntingly high-fashion.
Rounding out the electrifying ensemble is a pair of striped Mary Janes, a studded vinyl belt dripping with silver chains, dangly blue earrings, and a quilted skullette purse. She also arrives in limited-edition packaging, perfect for play and display. The doll is recommended for fans ages 8 and up.
The Monster High Frankie Stein Doll by American Girl will be available in-store and online starting Sept. 1 for $225. However, Berry Rewards Members can score it now on American Girl’s website.
