Bring on the slime!
All That and Saturday Night Live comedian Kenan Thompson is set to host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, airing live on Saturday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
Thompson is part of the Nickelodeon family, winning his own Kids’ Choice Awards orange blimp in 2000 for “Favorite Male TV Star” for his time on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series All That.
Kids can start voting for their favorite celebrities in film, television, music, sports, and other categories now, with Justin Bieber leading the pack with five nominations; Stranger Things with four nominations; and three nominations each for Ariana Grande, The Croods: A New Age, Henry Danger, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Soul, Trolls World Tour, and Wonder Woman 1984. In this year’s show, Nickelodeon’s Orange Blimp will take fans on a wild ride to outer space, Bikini Bottom, and through celebrities’ homes using XR technology. Fans can also expect a ton of slime and messy stunts, as well as live and interactive fan walls that bring celebrities and families at home to the main stage, second-screen live voting all night long to keep the fans in control, and a KCA award presented by one lucky family chosen during the show.
Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021 will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, and the Nick Jr. channel.
