Whether your child dreams of all things Disney or has an aptitude for animation, the new Super Studio Disney Princess Starter Kit from Osmo will enchant pint-size princes and princesses alike.
This tablet-enabled kit lets kids draw their very own interactive art within stories featuring various Disney Princesses. The kit comes with a Super Marker, a Super Sweeper, and a 30-page Super Sketchpad. The sketchpad is made from whiteboard material, so little artists can wipe off their drawings using the sweeper cloth and start over if they make a mistake or just want to create something new.
The Super Studio Disney Princess Starter Kit is designed for kids ages 5-11 and is compatible with select versions of Apple iPads or Fire Tablets. While set up is quick and painless, adults should be aware that the protective cases need to be removed for the tablet to fit in the Osmo base (sold separately).
Once the setup is all complete, kids can draw accessories, designs, and props that the Disney Princess characters recognize and engage with on the screen. As kids interact with the characters and follow the prompts, they learn fundamental drawing techniques. The engaging stories are fun and educational, and turn passive storytime into active play. As kids draw, they will enjoy classic Disney tales while helping the princesses complete important quests.
Kids can swim with Ariel, go to the ball with Belle, or have a forest run with Rapunzel. Little aspiring artists can design a mermaid fin for Ariel and see her swim with it or create a rose for Beast to give to Belle.
It is perfect for Disney trips, rainy days, and fostering art skills using a different medium for children who love to draw or do not have access to art programs in schools or their community. If your pint-sized Picassos don’t prefer princesses, there are also other Disney-themed Super Studio Starter Kits featuring Mickey Mouse and Friends, Frozen II, and the Incredibles.
All in all, if kids are going to be on their devices, this is a fun way to combine storytelling, drawing, animation, direction taking, and fine motor skill development into one really fun play experience.
