National Piñata Day is coming up on April 18 and Ravensburger is celebrating with a piñata party in a box!

The new tabletop game Piñata Blast takes elements from the classic piñata experience as players race to get candy. The game is family-friendly with rules that are easy for even the littlest piñata-lovers to follow. Players drop dice and then race to grab candy cards that match their own before their opponents can, all while avoiding rotten candy.

The game features Mexican game designer Carlos Esparza and artist Ricardo De Los Angeles. It’s recommended for kids ages 7 and up, and takes a short-and-sweet 15 minutes to play. Though there aren’t any actual piñatas to break in this game, kids will feel the familiar fun-filled rush of racing for candy as they try to grab their cards as quickly as they can.

Though the company might be best known for its puzzle offerings, Ravensburger has plenty of other family game night options to expand any collection and have kids gaming for hours on end. Disney Villainous centers iconic villains from Disney brands, Ready, Set, Sloth! features a race with some of the slowest animals, and the Princess Bride Adventure Book Game will take kids through a favorite story in a whole new way.

Get Piñata Blast now for $12.99 on Amazon to add some action-packed candy-racing fun to your next family game night! With colorful art, fun rules, and quick gameplay, it’s sure to be a hit.
