It’s been almost a year since Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet first launched. Now, features from the games are headed to Pokémon Trading Card Game!

Scarlet & Violet — Paradox Rift is inspired by the Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet and introduces Ancient and Future Pokémon and Trainer cards. Ancient Pokémon tend to have intense direct attacks and are more difficult to Knock Out while Future Pokémon usually have abilities and attacks with extra effects for supreme strategists. Ancient Trainers will usually help Ancient Pokémon while Future Trainers assist Future Pokémon. Technical Machines are also now available as Pokémon Tool cards that give access to a new attack when attached.

Scarlet & Violet — Paradox Rift is now available in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and more. With a Pokémon TCG purchase of $15 or more, little trainers can get a special Iron Moth promo card from GameStop in the U.S. and Canada along with EB Games in Australia and New Zealand. Best Buy shoppers can also get a special Slither Wing Promo Card. Kids can also play Scarlet & Violet — Paradox Rift digitally on the Pokémon TCG Live app Trainers can collect and battle with new Ancient and Future Pokémon and unlock a premium deck by redeeming Crystals by completing daily quests.

If the kids in your life have been playing Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet for the past year, this may be the gift for them!
