Trainers around the world are preparing for the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, and your little one can get in on the action! While the tournament is currently out of Spectator badges, kids can join the fun by watching the official livestream. If your family is planning to attend, there’s new merch to keep an eye on!
During the championship, which takes place in Anaheim, California, from Aug. 15-17, Trainers will compete to find out who is the best of the best. They will battle it out across the franchise’s different games, including the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE. Families can watch these games unfold through the livestream.

The Pokémon Center at the Anaheim Convention Center will also feature merch for every fan, big and small!
Attendees can purchase an event-exclusive Pikachu plush wearing a red Letterman jacket with a lightning bolt and the letter “P” embroidered on the front, and with “Anaheim” on the back. A special Pikachu playing card for the TCG will also be available onsite. Both can be found at the Pokémon Center booth.
For those competing in the tournament, a special World Championships Competitor Welcome Kit will be available. It will include event-exclusive items like a backpack, TCG card sleeves, a playing mat, a T-shirt, a pin, and more, all covered in the Championships’ unique design.
