Travel the World with Professor Maxwell’s VR Atlas 2.0

Professor Maxwell’s VR Atlas 2.0 from Abacus Brands is an adventure in a box. Each time kids open the kit, they will embark on a virtual reality (VR) journey to another country and learn about its wildlife, landscape, historic sites, and more.

The VR kit is designed for kids ages 8 and up, and comes with goggles, a 144-page book, and more than 100 pieces for kids to complete guided projects. Set up is simple — just download the app (available on the App Store and Google Play) and clip your phone to the adjustable goggles.

On page 21, kids can learn all about fossils found at Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada, then uncover their own fossils by using the included chisel and brush. Once all the bones have been discovered, kids can piece together a dinosaur skeleton. Kids can learn about mountains and volcanoes on page 93 and then create their own volcanic eruption!

Kids also have the option to use a device without the goggles for an augmented reality (AR) experience. Whichever option they choose, there are tons of places to explore and lots to learn.
