Growing up I would fantasize about riding across rolling hills and valleys atop my faithful stead. Sadly, when I argued this point with my parents, they didn’t quite take to it too well. I think it’s safe to say, I’m not the only kid who ever dreamed about this, and I certainly won’t be the last. The good news, however, is that although Tek Nek’s line of Rockin’ Rider Rocking Horses may not be real-life horses, they are essentially the next best thing.

Meet Rockin’ Rider Rocking Horse Henley and Rockin’ Rider Rocking Horse Holly, the coolest riding pals around. The retro rocking horses from Tek Nek have—parents, this one’s for you—a super easy assembly process. In fact, it’s almost non-existent. Each horse simply needs to be screwed onto the rocking base, and voila, they are ready to go! Now, kids can saddle up in style and even press the horses left ears to make them sing the “I’m a Little Pony” song, as well as six additional fun phrases or horse sound effects.

Henley has light brown and white hair with a dark brown mane, tail, and saddle. Holly is a bit sassier and has light pink and white hair with a hot pink mane, tail, and saddle. Both horses come with an adorable Rockin’ Rider bandanna that can be worn on the horse, or kids may even steal it for themselves. Holly and Henley also feature a full-body bridle and reins, and stand more than a foot tall. Although the horses have a soft, plush exterior, they are still sturdy enough for children to sit and rock back and forth on. The material also ensures that kids will be able to sit comfortably on it while they play.

Holly and Henley also have a ton of other Rockin’ Rider friends that are available in different colors and styles for kids to choose from. There’s even a vintage line where the horses bodies have checkered or plaid patterns. What I’m saying is, there’s a horse to fit every kid’s taste.

Tek Nek’s Rockin’ Riders will give all parents the much-needed dose of nostalgia, and it’s innovated features will keep kids excited about their new four-legged friend.
