The babies are back, baby!
Nickelodeon and Paramount+ revealed a Season 2 teaser for the reimagined Rugrats series during an exclusive panel at exclusively revealed at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC).
The original Rugrats series first debuted on Aug. 11, 1991, gracing our TVs for nine seasons over 13 years. The series stars a squad of babies — Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Susie, and twins Phil and Lil — as they explore the world and go on adventures only a baby could dream up.
In the new CG-animated series, the babies are back and Season 2 will see the characters cross the frozen tundra, discover the treasures of ancient babies, and journey to the other side of the moon, while spending more time with friends, including Kimi and her mom Kira, Begley, Boris and Minka, Gabi, Tia Esperanza, and more.
The SDCC panel also announced that the show will return for 13-episode Season 3. The first season of Rugrats is currently airing on Nickelodeon, and families can also stream it on Paramount+. The second season will debut on Paramount+ next year. Check out the Season 2 teaser below!
