Yee-haw! Schleich chose one talented winner of the Power of Imagination Photo Contest today from more than 5,000 imaginative photo entries.
The manufacturer of animal figurines asked fans to submit original toy photography using Schleich figurines and playsets. The winning photo (pictured above) showcased Schleich Horse Club characters looking out over a desert expanse with a dog by their side, taken by a 15-year-old girl named Rosa from Herriman, Utah.
The Power of Imagination campaign kicked off at Toy Fair New York, where Schleich displayed a series of commissioned photographs from toy photographer Mitchel Wu, inspired by stories shared by kids. Wu helped out in the contest by providing video guidance to contestants about how to create their own compelling “toyography.” He also taped a congratulatory video for the winner.

“Seeing the imaginations of so many kids come to life using Schleich figurines was inspiring and even humbling. It’s amazing to see the joy and pride children have when bringing their ideas to life,” Schleich USA’s Managing Director Annie Laurie Zomermaand said in a press release.
