Even Cookie Monster enjoys some yummy, yummy fruit salad every now and then.
To celebrate a combined 80 years of entertaining kids, the cast of Sesame Street and The Wiggles are joining together for — let’s count together — *two * new music videos this spring. Sesame Street marked its 50th season last year and this is The Wiggles’ 30th year of singing kids’ tunes.
Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Abby Cadabby join their friends The Wiggles to sing and dance their way through the alphabet in the music video released today. The “ABC’s of Moving You” is a reworking of the Sesame Street classic that was originally sung with Usher. It gets kids moving through the alphabet from Arms to Zooming around.
In June, the friends will join together again for a reimagining of the classic hit “Fruit Salad.” The fun video features fruit being dropped and passed between screens. And, yes, even Cookie Monster gets in on the healthy food action.
Kids can also listen to a playlist on YouTube of 20 songs from Sesame Street and The Wiggles. It features the last time the pals got together to sing a rendition of The Wiggles’ “Do the Propeller” in 2019.
