Kids Will ‘Wish’ for the Newest Disney Singing Doll from JAKKS Pacific

The Disney magic never ceases to inspire — and the same should be true for the company’s upcoming film Wish.

Hitting theaters on Nov. 22, the movie stars Asha (Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist who makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force, Star. Together, Asha and Star must confront the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico (Chris Pine), in order to save her community. (I’m calling it now, and Valentino, a goat voiced by Alan Tudyk, is sure to be my favorite character in the film.) And while the movie is highly anticipated for the holiday season, we know a magical new movie comes with our favorite thing: toys.

Jakks Pacific will debut a full line of Disney Wish toys, but the star of the show is the Singing Asha with Valentino & Star. Kids can travel to the kingdom of Rosas with the three friends from the film. The doll itself features Asha’s traditional braided hairstyle, which is styled by hand, and her purple fashions and accessories that kids will recognize from the big screen. The attention to detail in the doll’s design makes this feel way more elevated than any old preschool dolls, and kids of all ages who love Asha will want one.

Not only is this 14-inch doll beautiful, but she is talented, too. This doll says 20 phrases from the film and also sings her show-stopping hit: “This Wish.” With the included Star and Valentino, preschoolers can replay their favorite scenes from the movie, or go on wondrous adventures of their own imagination.
