If you haven’t transformed your home into Halloween-mode yet, it’s time to get started!
Pandora and SiriusXM are helping to set the spooky mood with exclusive, Halloween-themed programming, including festive music, scary stories, virtual trick-or-treating, and more.
Pandora is also offering a lineup of Halloween stations, including Family Halloween, Ghostly Grooves, Halloween Metal, Hipster Halloween, Spooky Symphonies, and Witch House. We recommend the Family Halloween station for music featuring some of kids’ favorite characters from brands like Baby Shark, PJ Masks, and Sesame Street. Families can also customize their own listening experiences using the new “Modes” feature on Pandora’s Halloween Party station, such as Disney Halloween Party Mode, Haunted House Mode, and more.
Starting on Oct. 15, SiriusXM will begin airing scary stories, haunted house sounds, and Halloween-themed playlists. SiriusXM’s Kids Place Live (channel 78) will launch a family-friendly, virtual trick-or-treating special, featuring nonstop Halloween music and messages from kids sharing what they plan to dress up as this Halloween, their favorite candy, and how they’re celebrating the holiday this year. Kids can call in to the channel all month long by dialing 866-328-2345 and selecting option five to leave messages. The virtual trick-or-treating event will take place from Oct. 31 at 5 a.m. ET through Nov. 1. Kids Place Live also released a Halloween House Party playlist featuring kid-friendly Halloween songs, such as “The Monster Mash” and music from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
SiriusXM’s Scream Radio (channel 105) will continue its annual tradition of creepy sound effects, traditional Halloween tunes, ghost stories, spooky music from classic horror films, and more. Available between Oct. 15-31, the limited-run channel will also feature a top 50 Halloween song countdown, called “The Freaky 50.”
