The Peanuts gang is made of iconic, relatable characters — so it only makes sense to highlight their background! Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin features Franklin’s origin story.
You can tune into AppleTV+ on Feb. 16 to discover how Franklin became friends with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts family. The special follows Franklin as he moves around with his dad’s military job and tries to make new friends using friendship advice from his grandfather’s notebook.
Franklin has trouble fitting in with the Peanuts gang until he learns about the neighborhood Soap Box Derby race. He enlists Charlie Brown’s help in building a car, and families can watch as their friendship grows and takes on the pressure of a race.
The special is produced by Peanuts and WildBrain, and the writers have extensive experience with Peanuts stories, so it’ll be great for family movie night!
