What if we told you that you can enjoy your favorite Disney roller coaster from the comfort of your own home? Well, now you can with the Space Mountain: All Systems Go Board Game from Ravensburger, the same company that created the Villainous board games.
The original Space Mountain theme park ride launched in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park in 1975. The attraction was a favorite of park-goers and has seen new iterations in Disneyland Paris Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland Resort. Now the ride is coming to living rooms across the country in the form of an adventure board game that will surely please any Disney Parks superfan.
In the game, designed by Chris Leder and Kevin Rodgers, 2-4 players will fly through space to visit five Starports, while also avoiding a number of space-based threats, such as asteroids and mysterious planets. It features standees of the five Space Mountain rides, a “Launch Bay” dice tower modeled after the lift hill in Space Mountain, and colorful ships for players to pilot.
Recommended for players ages 8 and up, Space Mountain: All Systems Go will be available to purchase for $29.99 this October at any major retailer and specialty game stores.
