You know when you’re in the grocery store trying to choose the perfect avocado and they’re just impossible to tell apart? Squishable is giving avocados more personality than ever before with a new plush line called Alter Egos.
Alter Egos are Squishable characters that hail from infinite alternate universes, kind of like how there are multiple versions of Spider-Man and Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Each series will feature multiple versions of Squishable characters with different styles and personalities. Squishable is kicking off Series 1 with five collectible, plush avocados.
The plush characters include an alien avocado, a rainbowcado, a skelecado, a unicado, and a avocato. Each Alter Ego is snack-size (you can fit them in the palm of your hand), featuring a beanie base and super-soft fur for $13 each.
Squishable will release each Alter Egos series in collectible sets of five. Series 2 is in the works and there is a hint floating around on squishable.com featuring what looks like an outline of Squishable’s plush Plague Doctor character wearing different accessories, such as a jester’s hat.
