WHAT IT IS
This Fairy House Model Building Kit from Stix + Brix is a magical arts and crafts activity for kids ages 4 and up. Little ones assemble the pre-cut interlocking wooden pieces to create their own fairy home then decorate it! The craft kit includes add-on pieces for decor, such as dried flowers, moss, a bunny figure, trees, rocks, acorns, a “fairies welcome” sign, and grass patches. The set also includes three paint colors: pink, blue, and yellow.
Young builders just lock the pieces together and glue dots to attach the accessories. It also includes a step-by-step instruction card for building and an architecture card that features real-life images of fairy house elements (like an arched entrance, dormers, and more).

WHY WE LOVE IT

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Caregivers should be mindful of the paint and accessories — creating a working station or covering a table to avoid paint splatters might be helpful. Let little ones paint the wooden pieces first, and then give them a chance to dry before the building fun begins. Adult supervision is recommended for younger kids due to the smaller pieces in the set.
