The Snow Skis are attachments that parents can affix to Strider’s line of balance bikes, offering bicycle fun year-round. Strider balance bikes are 12- and 14-inch bikes meant for the youngest of riders to help them develop bike riding balance and maneuvering skills. The attachments mean bikes (at least the Strider variety) are no longer obsolete for the wintry months.
For those who already have a balance bike, the attachments are available for $39.99 on the Strider site. Major bonus: there’s no tools required, as the attachments are sized to fit both the 12” and 14x Strider Balance Bikes.
Those who don’t already have a Strider bike but would like to invest can find the fully attached, snow-friendly bike sold as a complete unit — the Strider Powder Pony — for about $179.
