Jim Henson’s classic characters have long been household names and now even more of his iconic series are heading straight into your home.

The Jim Henson Co. has licensed hundreds of hours of the puppeteer’s works to the Roku Channel in the U.S. and UK. Parents and grandparents can now watch hours of TV and say it’s because it’s “what the kids want.” Fans old and new can catch shows such as The Hoobs, Animal Show, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, and Mother Goose Stories.

Some of these series have not been available for years, so this marks the first time many will be able to catch them. The company’s third-party distribution label also licensed Elias: Rescue Team Adventures and The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, one of TIME Magazine’s top 100 properties of all time.

Jim Henson’s puppetry offers a timeless wholesomeness that is perfect for all families, but it’s especially welcome now — when we could all use escape from reality with some familiar faces.

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
