Winter is coming … to The Sims! Electronic Arts announced that The Sims 4 Snowy Escape is launching next month, marking the 10th expansion pack for the life-simulation video game.
Players can take a winter getaway to the majestic world of Mt. Komorebi, a Japanese-inspired destination where Sims can unwind in the mountain’s hot springs, find peace on scenic hikes through bamboo forests, or get active with skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and rock climbing activities. The expansion will also have new Lifestyles and Sentiments features to add more depth to Sims’ personalities and relationships by altering their behavior and social interactions.
Mt. Komorebi is the first world in The Sims 4 to introduce both residential homes and rental lots for vacationers, featuring new architectural styles and pieces like shoji doors, windows, and screens; paper lanterns; koi ponds; and Japanese maple trees. Players can add winter looks to their Sims with more than 130 new Create-a-Sim items, including winter activity wear and both modern and traditional Japanese-inspired fashion.
The Sims 4 Snowy Escape is heading to PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 13. It is rated T for Teen and will be available for $39.99.
