Today’s the day we race — race to the TV to watch the premiere of Thomas & Friends: Race for the Sodor Cup on Netflix!
In this animated Thomas & Friends special, engines from around the world are preparing for the biggest race Sodor has ever seen. Kids can watch Thomas, Kana, Percy, Nia, and Diesel learn how to use both their strengths and weaknesses to work together as a team to try and win the famous Sodor Cup. During practice, Kenji — one of the favorites to win the race — suddenly breaks down and is forced to withdraw from the competition. Kana, an electric engine with lightning speed, pairs up with Thomas as a result. Thomas is not as fast, but he makes up for it with his courage and determination. As we get closer to the race, the two trains learn to work together to overcome their conflicts just in time to cross the finish line.
This heartwarming special from Mattel and Nelvana Studio will teach kids the importance of working together and that no matter how different we are, we can always help each other to win as a team. Fred Soulie (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe), Christopher Keenan (Thomas & Friends), Pam Westman, Colin Bohm, and Doug Murphy (Corn & Peg) serve as executive producers.
