There’s always a fear that comes with washing your kid’s favorite stuffed animal — you know the one. To settle these (completely valid) fears, Tide is launching its Safe for Stuffies campaign.
This campaign highlights that even the most meaningful and delicate items can be cleaned safely, whether they’re being returned to the toy box or finding a new owner to play with. Tide Free & Gentle, a dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic laundry detergent made without dyes or perfumes, delivers an effective clean while remaining gentle on people’s most valuable items — including plush friends.
To launch their campaign, Tide is hosting a citywide donation drive in partnership with Recess Therapy and Expecting Relief. Now until June 25, families in New York City can donate loved stuffed animals, which will be professionally washed with Tide Free & Gentle. After a good clean, each plush pal will go to families navigating housing insecurity. Families who donate will receive a $3 coupon for Tide Free & Gentle.
