If your kids can’t get enough of Blippi, wait until they see Blippi’s Treehouse, a live-action series heading to Amazon Kids+ in December. The streaming service debuted the trailer for the original series today, co-created with Moonbug Entertainment.
Stevin John stars as Blippi, accompanied by his best friend Meekah (played by Kaitlin Becker, former host of Sprout’s Sunny Side Up) and adventure critters, Scratch and Patch. Designed for kids ages 3-6, each episode will feature a guest who will introduce Blippi and Meekah to new experiences and educational adventures. The treehouse gang is always looking to discover and grow by reading books found at Patch’s Library Branch, singing songs while Scratch DJs, creating with Meekah in her makerspace, and journeying with Blippi through animated adventures. Each episode will end with Blippi traveling out into the world on curiosity adventures to witness each episode’s theme in action — a signature to Blippi’s YouTube series.
Special guests will include singer-songwriter Jordin Sparks, who stops by to talk about the joy of music; international soccer star Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, who shares the fun of exercise; female contractor Joan Barton, who will discuss the STEM inspirations that spark her passion for building; Paralympic Track and Field international medalist Blake Leeper, who will talk about the concept of speed; meteorologist Evelyn Taft, who will introduce kids to the wonders of weather; and many others.
Blippi’s Treehouse will premiere exclusively on Amazon Kids+ on Dec. 1. Fans can also look forward to fun music videos and books to accompany the show. Watch the trailer below!
