The new Bluey album is here.
Bluey: Rug Island features 16 original tracks from the beloved animated series. Inspired by the episode “Rug Island” and featuring tracks from all three series, this album aims to create a space for kids to play and adults to embrace their inner kid. Some highlights on the album include “Octopus,” “Onesies,” “Fairytale,” “Explorers,” “Muffin Drive,” “Turtleboy,” and a new vocal version of “Bluey Theme Tune,” previously covered on The Toy Insider.
Bluey: Rug Island is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other music streaming platforms, but it is also available physically on CD, a sunset orange vinyl, and a limited-edition picture disc. The vinyl picture disc is limited to 7,000 copies and is available exclusively at Target.
Another limited-edition, 7-inch picture disc version of the album will be available on Nov. 29 for Record Store Day Black Friday. The vinyl will feature “Rug Island (Full Version),” which is only available as a trilogy on the full album, and “Bluey Theme Tune (Vocal Version)” on the B-side. This special-edition picture disc is limited to 6,000 copies, with copies only available from participating Indie Record stores taking part in Record Store Day Black Friday. The vinyl will be available in record stores on the day on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kids can also take part in music-themed Bluey activities at bluey.tv/bluey-music.
