American Girl has introduced Daisy Davenport, the brand’s 2027 Girl of the Year, as it celebrates its 40th anniversary. Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Daisy is the first American Girl character from the state and spends her summer at Camp Gowonagin, the same camp attended by Historical Character Molly McIntire.
When Daisy’s best friend can’t join her at camp, her plans for the “perfect summer” take an unexpected turn. Throughout her camp experience, Daisy navigates homesickness, new friendships, a fear of the dark, and challenges with her cabinmates while learning about teamwork, courage, and stepping outside her comfort zone.

The cabin sleeps two dolls and features bunk beds with pillows, blankets, and sleeping pads, plus an outdoor vanity with a sink, a working mirror, and a Camp Gowonagin flag.
