Kids and families will have a blast when they listen to the new Dr. Seuss podcast!

In an expansive deal announced by Wondery Kids & Family (a division of the podcast studio Wondery) and Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the world of Dr. Seuss will be brought to life through an upcoming lineup of podcast programming. The slate kicks off with the Sept. 18 premiere of The Cat in the Hat Cast, a fantastical variety show-style podcast series hosted by everyone’s favorite red and white hat-wearing Cat from the best-selling book The Cat in the Hat.

The podcast will whisk kids ages 3 and up away on an adventure in a world full of delightful mix-ups and exhilarating mayhem. The mischievous cat takes the reins and enlightens the ever-cautious Fish on the art of hosting a perfectly poised podcast. Featuring “Alphabet Song” sing-a-longs, tremendous tongue-twisters, and wondrous wordplay, this podcast will leave kids guessing what surprises The Cat will pull out of his hat next.

Per Edison Research, podcasts help foster family connections and have a strong reach among children. Wondery Kids & Family podcasts can serve as a valuable tool, turning everyday moments into enriching learning experiences that lead to meaningful conversations and family bonding.

The Cat in the Hat Cast will be available exclusively on Wondery+ through the Wondery app, and on Wondery Kids+ on Apple Podcasts. Additional series inspired by the imaginative worlds created by Dr. Seuss will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
