Arnold Lobel’s whimsical amphibians are finally getting their TV debut! Starting on April 28, Frog and Toad are leaping from the pond and into a new Apple TV+ animated series produced by Titmouse. Inspired by the beloved book series of the same name, Frog and Toad joins Apple TV+’s slate of kids and family programs like El Deafo, Lovely Little Farm, Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, and Stillwater.
Much like in the original book series, the story of the new show follows Frog and Toad as they discover how the differences between them are what actually make their friendship unique. The Connors’ Kevin Michael Richardson and The Simpsons’ Nat Faxon will offer their vocal talents as the titular roles of Frog and Toad respectively.
The star-studded cast doesn’t stop there! Ron Funches, Fortune Feimster, Cole Escola, and Aparna Nancherla are also slated to make vocal appearances in the upcoming Apple TV+ original.
