October is prime-time for spooky TV specials and there’s a lot to get excited about this month on Cartoonito on Cartoon Network and HBO Max. Whether your kids are into We Baby Bears, Batman, Blippi, or Scooby-Doo, there’s something for everyone with new Halloween episodes featuring all of kids’ favorites this fall.
Scooby-Doo isn’t one to shy away from a mystery … as long as there are Scooby snacks involved. Join in the Scoobtober fun with a marathon of Scooby-Doo movies and episodes of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? beginning on Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. ET/PT. Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog premieres on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. and Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! premieres on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
We Baby Bears kicks off spooky season with a “Witches” episode on Oct. 8. Watch as the bears accidentally summon three mysterious witches and then try to figure out how to send them back home. There will be new episodes of We Baby Bears every Saturday in October at 9 a.m. ET/PT. The bears will also host a magical crossover episode of We Baby Bears and Summer Camp Island on HBO Max on Oct. 9.
Blippi joins in on the Halloween fun beginning on Oct. 10 at 8:15 a.m. ET/PT with the “Halloween” episode, in which Blippi shrinks down to go on an adventure through an ice cream truck with Sherry Pop, a fruit popsicle; the “Dia de los Muertos” episode, in which Blippi and D.BO help Paco create an ofrenda for his great-Abuela Rosa; and “Scare Contest,” in which Mr. Pumpkin and Bones challenge Blippi and D.BO to a scare contest. “Halloween Song” premieres on Oct. 11, following Blippi and TABBS as they throw a Halloween party for their new friend Pedro the spider, who loves Halloween but never gets to celebrate because he’s too scary. Kids can also tune in for “Halloween Party” on Oct. 12 to see an animated music video episode to the tune of Blippi’s new Halloween Song.
If your kids love Batman, but aren’t quite old enough to enjoy the latest DC movies, there’s a new preschool series heading to Cartoonito on Cartoon Network starting on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. In Batwheels, a team of super-vehicles help Batman, Batgirl, and Robin patrol the streets of Gotham City. The animated series will be available to stream on the Cartoonito hub on HBO the day after it airs.
Families can also look for new episodes of Teen Titans Go! and Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, in addition to rewatching older episodes of other Cartoon Network classics, including Adventure Time, Apple & Onion, Craig of the Creek, Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, and more.
