Summer vacation is in full swing and Hamster and Gretel is coming along to make it even better!
From the producer’s of Disney’s animated TV series, Phineas and Ferb, comes Hamster and Gretel, a new series debuting on Disney this August!
Hamster and Gretel is a superhero comedy about an older brother, Kevin, and his younger sister, Gretel, who encounter space aliens that will bestow superpowers on them. However, only Gretel and her pet hamster, Hamster, receive the new powers. It’s then up to Kevin to guide Gretel and Hamster as they learn to use their powers to protect the city from villains and other trouble.
The series will include familiar voices throughout the season from Priah Ferguson (Stranger Things), Liza Koshy (Liza on Demand), Alyson Stoner (Phineas and Ferb), Joey King (Kissing Booth), and YouTuber Thomas Sanders. Main characters Gretel, Hamster, and Kevin are voiced by television newcomer Meli Povenmire, Beck Beckett from SNL, and Michael Cimino from Love, Victor, respectively.
Hamster and Gretel will premiere on Friday, Aug. 12, at 9:35 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel.
