WHAT IT IS
Learning to ride a bike is an exciting milestone, but it can also be a scary experience for both kids and parents. Thankfully, Huffy is easing families’ worries with its Grow Ride Move (GRM) Bikes. This collection is designed for all kinds of riders, no matter where they are in their learning journey. From first-time pedalers to everyday cruisers, these GRM bikes boost riders’ confidence through their kid-focused geometry and adaptable learning features.
The GRM collection features four thoughtfully designed ride-ons that prioritize safety and comfort. Preschoolers (3–5) can start riding on a 12-inch bike, as young kids (4–6) take their next steps on the 16-inch model. More experienced riders (5–9) will find comfort on the 20-inch bike, and riders ages 10 and up can boost their confidence on the 24-inch bike.

WHY WE LOVE IT
When kids are in control, learning to ride is a fun experience, not a frightening one. These bikes give riders the confidence they need, while soothing the fears that may arise in parents. All bikes have wide tires for balance and control, multiple color designs, and a fully enclosed chainguard.
Younger kids embarking on their first rides will feel safe on the 12- and 16-inch ride-ons. The bikes’ Triple Braking System offers color-coded front and rear brakes, plus a coaster brake that teaches safe stopping and control. Mom and Dad can even guide riders with the under-saddle Parent Assist handle. Alongside the standard two-wheel style, each bike features a balance bike mode and a set of removable training wheels. Between its easy-adjust seat and perfect-fit, easy-step-over frame, little ones will be riding in no time.
Older riders also receive many benefits from the GRM line. Like the smaller sizes, the 20- and 24-inch bikes have a perfect-fit frame and easy-adjust saddle for comfortable rides. These bikes also boost safe, independent play through their Dual Break system, featuring front and rear alloy hand brakes for reliable stopping power. The 20-inch model uses a simple single-speed setup, while the 24-inch model’s 7-Speed Twist Shifters provide smooth gear changes for tackling hills, paths, and longer rides.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
While all bikes come 90% assembled, parents still need to finish assembly using the manual. Additionally, only the 12- and 16-inch bikes feature the Triple Braking System.
