It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a… Pteranodon?
Whether you’re passionate about the prehistoric, or just looking for a flying good time, Mattel’s new Jurassic World Pterano-Drone lets young ones take to the sky in style with a dino drone of their very own.
Inspired by the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom film, the Pterano-Drone lets fans relive the big screen action right in their own backyard. Like any quadcopter, this R/C features four separate propellers for maximum control. Kids can take off, twist, turn, and dive with the easy-to-use joystick controller. Atop the propellors rests a realistic Pteranodon with actual wings that move up and down as kids operate the R/C.
Mattel’s Pterano-Drone can be flown indoors, but why put a limit on what this high-flyer can do? Coupled with full-function R/C control is an operating range of about 25 feet, which means kids can soar above the trees and in the open air just like nature intended dinosaurs to do.
To recreate even more movie magic, kids can activate Auto Circle mode and watch as their drone begins to move in a circle mid-flight. Fans can have their Pteranodon circle “prey”, and then activate Auto Land mode to swoop down to the ground.
Mattel’s Pterano-Drone includes a USB charging cable and two replacement propeller parts to make up for any bumps and bruises the dino may take during flight.
