Is your kid hot and cold until Peppa Pig comes on? Do you feel like a plastic bag drifting through the wind when guest stars are absent from your little one’s programming? If so, there’s relief in sight courtesy of Katy Perry: The pop star will soon join Peppa Pig as a guest voice actor!

Why is the Dark Horse signer joining the cast, you may ask? Besides the fact that Perry has previously posted about watching Peppa Pig with her own daughter, the beloved British cartoon also celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024. For such a grand occasion, something extra was in order: a three-part wedding party special!

During the three-part special, the world of Peppa will prepare for its first-ever wedding — this one between Mr. Bull and Ms. Cow! That’s where Perry comes in. The Grammy-winning crooner will voice Ms. Leopard (Do leopards roar?), a dressmaker who helps with the preparations for the big day while Peppa’s younger brother George, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and her whole circle of friends rally to mark the special occasion.

The episodes are slated for spring 2024, and while that may feel as far away as your teenage dreams right about now, in the meantime you and your little ones can watch Peppa Pig on Nickelodeon or stream it on Paramount+.
