Calling all Night Agents — and their families — The LEGO Group needs builders to celebrate the power of dreams and creativity!

Starting today, families can attend the LEGO DREAMZzz: A Wild Adventure at the Los Angeles Zoo. This experience is inspired by the second season of LEGO DREAMZZz and features four incredibly large LEGO sculptures, provides kids the opportunity to build creations with LEGO Master Builders, includes exclusive looks at the new season, and more!

In an exclusive interview with The Toy Insider, LEGO Master Builder of 17 years Chris Steininger revealed the process behind the sculptures and what to expect!

“In building four of the beloved LEGO DREAMZzz creatures, we used nearly 70,000 bricks combined to build our Bunchu the Bunny, Zian the giant Cat-Owl gryphon and Izzie’s red panda. We knew these models would translate really well into large-scale builds. That was more than 500 hours of building alone, plus 140 hours of design!  We really wanted to harness the power of dreams and include young builders in the process of finalizing the eight-foot-tall Narwhal hot air balloon live,” Steininger says.

After viewing the magnificent LEGO sculptures, all prospective and seasoned Night Agents can test their creativity through challenges, activities, and building creations at interactive LEGO building stations.

Kids (and adults) can also interact with Master Builders like Steininger. During the main LEGO Master Builder activity, you will build small sections that will become something huge! “At designated build tables throughout the event, kids – and guests of all ages– can unleash their creativity by contributing to the Narwhal. Their creations will be handed over to me and we will complete the magnificent creature together,” Steininger says.

Builders will also receive a certificate for contributing to the build. Guests will also receive a goodie bag with a LEGO polybag to build at home.

The event is a dream you won’t want to wake up from, so make sure to snap some photos to remember the magic. There are photo opportunities throughout the event, so you can always look back and see how your family compares to the large LEGO sculptures.

Kids can also meet their favorite characters from the show, watch exclusive clips, and learn more about the stories. Guests will get a sneak peek at the new LEGO DREAMZZz sets as well — according to Steininger, “All of the sets are great for aspiring Master Builders. The great thing about LEGO DreamZzz, like many of our themes, is that we have a variety of options that are all super fun to build, including smaller sets and larger ones that are more challenging.”

The immersive experience is included with your admission to the LA Zoo and ends on Aug. 18 — if you’re one of the first 100 people during this time, your admission is free! LEGO DREAMZzz: A Wild Adventure at the LA Zoo is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and is perfect for the final days of summer.

“We really wanted to bring the LEGO DREAMZzz world to life – and what better setting than a beloved zoo like the LA Zoo. This experience is designed to transport kids into fantastical worlds where they can create, explore, and bring their dreams to life … We hope these creative experiences empower and inspire kids to discover the world of their wildest dreams as they head back to school,” Steininger says.

If you’re not close to Los Angeles — or your kids prefer just LEGO animals to real animals — you can still partake in activities inspired by the show and sets until Sept. 6.

Visitors at LEGOLAND parks and LEGO Discovery Centers can also build LEGO creations of their DREAMZzz. Kids can watch Z-Blob Rescue Rush, the exclusive LEGO DREAMZzz 4D movie, and learn how to build a LEGO Z-Blob during a Creative Workshop. Little builders can also meet Mateo and Z-Blob during the character meet and greet, build their own memory protector, and search Miniland for the Dream Clouds, which is needed to solve Mr. Oz’s code.

Families in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, and more can experience the LEGO DREAMZZz: Agents Wanted event. Visit legolanddiscovercenter.com to see if Night Agents can answer the call at a LEGO Discovery Center or LEGOLAND park near you.

The second season of LEGO DREAMZzz is available on Peacock and Netflix, so everyone can enter the universe!
