There’s No Place Like Mattel’s ‘Wicked: For Good’ Playsets

Let us be glad, let us be thankful, because Wicked: For Good is almost here! Universal Pictures is teaming up with Mattel to launch a majorly magical collection, so kids can rejoicify before the film hits theaters. 

This swankified line includes full-size fashion dolls, mini mages, and playsets that transport kids right to the Emerald City — no twister required! Whether they’re a good witch or a bad witch, playtime will definitely be changed for good.

Pink goes good with green, right? Elphaba and Glinda headline the collection as true-to-movie fashion dolls. Elphaba stuns in her black dress and sparkly cape, which kids can pair with her broom, hat, and the legendary Grimmerie. Glinda dons her flowing purple gown, tiara, and heels, her iconic wand in her grasp. Each outfit is fully removable and customizable, so the style options are unlimited. 

The line also includes an exclusive first look at Dorothy’s first appearance in the film. The Dorothy Fashion Doll ($24.99) wears her classic gingham dress and pigtails, fresh from the farm. Toto trails behind as she carries her signature basket. Fans can also sneak a peek at Nessa’s silver slippers without ever leaving home!

Munchkins can snag mini versions of their favorite Wicked characters in two multipacks. The Oz Story Set ($24.99) follows Dorothy’s journey down the Yellow Brick Road, starring minifigures of Glinda, Dorothy Gale, her dog, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Lion, as well as charming accessories. Meanwhile, the Students of Shiz Multipack ($24.99) includes bobbleheaded besties Elphaba, Glinda, Nessarose, Fiyero, and Boq as they study at Dear Ol’ Shiz.  

Among the many playsets in the collection, none are as glittering (or green) as the Emerald City Playset ($29.99). This modular set features five thrillifying play spaces inspired by real places from the film, which kids can rearrange and explore to their heart’s content. Alongside Elphaba and Glinda dolls, kids can explore the Emerald City, catch a show at Wizomania, and even meet The Wizard of Oz. Complete with 15 accessories, this one short day never has to end.
