Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, this toy comes with the bubble machine and 4 ounces of bubble solution. Parents just need to add batteries and pour some of the solution into the blue crab’s upturned claws for an instant party. When kids press the button on the crab’s back, the crab’s legs will start dancing across the ground and bubbles will stream continuously from its mouth. The crab will move side to side while playing music and bubbling sound effects.
The crab moves quickly and runs well on hard surfaces, like concrete or flat patios rather than fluffy carpets, so it’s perfect to bring outside. The crab automatically avoids obstacles, so parents don’t have to worry about it ramming into kids’ legs or stepping on anyone’s toes. It may lightly bump into something and then it will just scurry away in another direction, keeping kids active as they chase after the dancing crab and the floating bubbles. It’s better to play with it in spacious areas instead of confined spaces because this crab loves to run!
If bubbles build up on the crab’s mouth, parents can take a napkin or cloth and just wipe them away to keep the stream of bubbles flowing.
