Melissa & Doug’s latest collection is inspiring preschoolers to connect with nature! The company is partnering with the National Park Foundation for a new collection of toys made with sustainable wood and paper inspired by national landmarks and wildlife.
The collection features nature-inspired items, including Yellowstone National Park Grizzly Bear Games ($37.99); a set with which kids can dress up like grizzly bears and pretend to catch fish and other bear foods; a Grand Canyon National Park Hiking Gear Play Set ($37.99); a set of pretend hiking gear that includes binoculars, a flashlight, and a tool belt; and National Parks Reusable Animal Stickers ($9.99), a collection of more than 100 stickers featuring animals and plants from the different national parks.
Melissa & Doug’s new lineup also features games and puzzles, including the National Parks Picture Matching Magnetic Game ($27.99). In this matching game, kids can match animals and plants to the right national park. There is also the National Parks Alphabet & Animals 24-piece Cubes Puzzle ($22.99), a puzzle with six sides that includes letters, animals, and nature scenes; a National Parks U.S.A. Map Floor Puzzle ($16.99), a 45-piece puzzle designed for kids ages 6 and up; and the Yellowstone National Park Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle ($9.99), a 24-piece puzzle that features a geyser, elk, buffalo, and more iconic national park landmarks and animals.
Even if kids don’t have a national park near them, this collection will bring them right into the heart of the great outdoors. The collection is available now at mass market retailers and at melissaanddoug.com.
