The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite @Home event is tomorrow, and Moose Toys is bringing the pets to the biggest toy party of the year!

The company behind this summer’s Space Jam toys and the new Akedo Ultimate Arcade Warriors is unboxing the latest addition to its Little Live Pets Scruff-a-Luvs collection: Cutie Cuts.

The latest evolution of Scruff-a-Luvs brings a true grooming experience to the line of interactive plush toys inspired by rescue pups. Kids take their Cutie Cuts from “matted and messy to fluffy and fabulous” by using a new pretend clippers accessory that doesn’t actually cut but feels real. Kids can “shave” their pet’s matted hair to reveal the breed, either a Yorkie or a Frenchie.

“We have all seen or experienced little kids getting their hands on scissors and cutting their own bangs or shaving their sibling’s hair, so we know that real-life grooming is really appealing,” says Alex Ries, senior vice president and head of U.S. marketing, Moose Toys. “With Cutie Cuts, we are putting kids in charge of the styling experience with a realistic feeling, kid-safe electric ‘clippers,’ while staying true to the Scruff-a-Luvs experience of rescuing and nurturing we know kids and parents love.”
