As the holiday season creeps up on us, it’s time to start planning what movies and TV shows families will watch as they curl up under blankets with steaming mugs of hot chocolate. Netflix has a whole lineup coming out next month that is a great starting place for movie night inspo.

Starting on Nov. 1, kids can watch Strawberry Shortcake’s Perfect Holiday, a holiday special where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends try a little too hard to make the perfect day happen. Just a few days later on Nov. 6, they can watch Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Mermaid Christmas Cruise, which will take Gabby and her friends on a fantastical holiday adventure. Once Thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is in full swing, kids can crowd around the TV to watch The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday as Mr. Wolf and his outlaw friends bring Christmas cheer to pull off their latest heist.

Two new animated series are also premiering on Netflix in November: Unicorn Academy and CoComelon Lane. Kids can join the students of Unicorn Academy and the CoComelon gang on tons of new adventures!

If holiday specials and TV series aren’t in the plan for this holiday season, families can also check out the two family movies hitting Netflix at the end of November! Leo is an animated movie musical about a class’s lizard (played by Adam Sandler, of course) as he watches his students go through their last year of elementary school. For a holiday movie, families can gather around and watch Family Switch, a movie where parents switch places with their teenagers just days before Christmas! Who would you want to switch with?

With so many new things to watch, families could spend a whole weekend staying warm on the couch!
