You’ve probably seen all the cool LEGO sets rolling out for teens and adults lately, but little ones can get in on the fun, too, with new LEGO Duplo sets for toddlers.
The LEGO Duplo line uses larger bricks and helps toddlers and preschoolers ages 2 and up find their creativity through developmental learning. Here are some of the new sets that launched on Jan. 1!
Kids can dive into the world of Disney and Pixar’s Cars with the 29-piece Lightning McQueen & Mater’s Car Wash Fun set for $29.99. Parents and kids can work together to build a drivable Lightning McQueen, Mater, and a car wash with a movable washing arm and a spinning tuning table that kids can use to make car repairs using the wrench.
Spider-Man’s House is a simple, 25-piece set inspired by the Disney+ series Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Kids can use the Spidey and Ghost-Spider figures to water their plant and swing on the flexible web to save Bootsie the cat through the hinged window. The set is available now for $19.99.
The Learn About Chinese Culture set comes with 124 pieces that kids can use to create three different buildings, including a café, a temple, and an activity area. It also includes three minifigures in traditional Chinese outfits, weather elements that represent the concept of yin and yang, and accessories such as a traditional Chinese game and an instrument. The detailed set is available now for $69.99.
Toddlers can head to Alphabet Town with an 87-piece set featuring letters, different shapes, and colorful bricks. Kids can build cars, open and close hinged windows, and practice the alphabet. The set is available now for $49.99.
If kids love toy cars, they can play with a bulldozer, a cement mixer, and a crane that swivels with the 61-piece Construction Site set for $64.99. The cement mixer’s drum rotates, the crane can really grab things, and the drivable bulldozer’s bucket lifts up and down. The set also comes with three figures and accessories, like a pizza.
The Family House on Wheels is a 31-piece set that includes a car that tows a trailer, campfire accessories, and two figures of a woman and a boy. Kids can detach the trailer from the car to set up the home on wheels, build a campfire before bed, then reattach the trailer to continue driving to the next destination. The set is available now for $19.99.
All of the sets are available on lego.com and you can also look for them at major retailers.
