New Sesame Street video games are on the way! Kids’ favorite Sesame Street characters are coming to the Nex Playground active entertainment console as Sesame Workshop partners with Nex to launch a new wave of active educational games featuring Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and more.
Nex Playground doesn’t have a controller. Kids control the game using whole body movements and arm gestures to actively learn using Nex’s motion capture and image processing tech. As kids play, Sesame Street characters will guide them, present challenges, and encourage kids through tons of family friendly games.
The Sesame Street games will launch on the Nex Playground starting this spring in the U.S. These games will be included in the Playground’s Play Pass content subscription bundle. TIME Magazine named the Nex Playground one of the Best Inventions of 2023 and Parent.com named it the Best Entertainment System for families.
Even if kids are used to playing classic video games, the new Sesame Street video games from Nex are sure to get kids excited and physically active while they are learning!
